I'll have an instrument I built there... here are some pics.. I am building the high end ukes for bushman music, and this is a new model for us: Curly Koa top back and sides Cocobolo Binding, bridge, and fretboard Bone nut and saddle Abalone Rosette Curly Koa headplate High Gloss finish Gold Gotoh Deluxe tuners with amber buttons Abalone Bushman logo and abalone fret markers Top, back & side purfling Solid one piece Mahogany neck with carbon graphite reinforcement. Boy, that koa is sweeeeet! Is that size saddle common for your ukes? Looks a little beefy for such a small instrument. |

Normally a saddle on a soprano or other uke is 3/32nds but it is not sufficient for proper compensation. Actually the .125 saddle is not either, but it gets it close. It looks more proportional in person. |

John...I bet it's fun making these Uke's. Beautiful workmanship Too. Question: What does one like this retail for? Now I feel like buying a Uke chord book! Nice Job. Walter

It's lots of fun for sure. These ones will sell for $899 or thereabouts. At his price I can't make one offs (my prices for one off customs start at $1250) but I'm going to be making these for distribution throughout the world. Or at least that is the plan. So I may need some workers to get trained by me, and build ukes for not much money in my shop if everything pans out......anyone interested :) |

Please share some insight on NAMM. I know what the name means but what does it mean to us, the small builder, by being a member? I haven't joined yet but have contemplated it. Are there avenues for sales? |
